All Gang cars (Fairmont A-cars for example), Hi Rail vehicles and other powered maintenance equipment other than listed below are restricted from crossing the bridge until repairs are made to the structure. Fairmont M, MT and S-type 2 & 4 man motorcars are at your own discretion.
The RSN Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Red Springs Community Center located at 122 Cross Street in Red Springs. Lunch will be prepared by Grandsons. A Board of Directors Meeting will follow lunch. Its almost time for our annual Rails to Christmas train rides!!!!!!! We invite you to take a little ride through our Christmas wonderland of decorations,lights,displays and maybe even a hardy Ho-Ho-Ho from the big guy Santa Claus himself! The dates for our rides will be Friday and Saturday Dec. 8th and 9th and Friday and Saturday Dec. 15th and 16th. Ride times are 6 pm-9 pm weather permitting and each ride will last about 25-30

RSN will be giving rides to Scouts and the public at the N.C. Transportation Museum’s Boy Scout Rail Camp on October 27-29, 2017. The event includes three days and two nights spent on the museum grounds. Scouts will earn their Railroading Merit Badge during the event. Troops will learn how a diesel-electric locomotive develops power, how to identify different types of railcars, the importance of railroad signals and railroad safety. Troops will also learn
