RSN will be giving rides to Scouts and the public at the N.C. Transportation Museum’s Boy Scout Rail Camp on October 14-16, 2022.   The event includes three days and two nights spent on the museum grounds.   Scouts will earn their Railroading Merit Badge during the event.

Troops will learn how a diesel-electric locomotive develops power, how to identify different types of railcars, the importance of railroad signals and railroad safety. Troops will also learn about modern railroad companies and planning a trip by rail.  For more information, please go the the NC Transportation Museum website at http://www.nctrans.org/Special-Programs—Tours/Boy-Scout-Rail-Camp.aspx.
